As an American living in Mexico, I found your writing on Chinese and Japanese in Mexico interesting. My husband and I often comment on the Asian look of some Mexicans. Maybe what we are really seeing is a descendant of a Chinese or Japanese immigrant.

I found your blog via the online Sentinal, where I just read your article titled, “Take a Real Look at It”. Thanks for all your writing and inspiration!

I suspect there is some truth in that. But it also coincides with the explosion in the use of smartphones and web-based technology as enablers of individual and collective voices. I suspect that one without the other wouldn’t have worked, but the two together have changed the world beyond recognition

“Dos Gringos” is Intriguing, funny, full of
adventure. I couldn’t put the book down until I finished it! It reminded me of the movie “Butch Cassidy” …delightful, It too would make a great fillm to see. It’s a MUST to read.

Where can I get your book here en Mexico? I am so sad that Ciudad Juarez is such a difficult place, I love my country and it’s really sad to see people suffering there. Also wanted to say, Juárez was not a hero of independence, his biggest achievementes were the ‘Leyes de Reforma’ and the creation of the ‘Civil Register’ that happened some time after the independence.
